This is was a fun necklace to do I added some circles around the stone using a punch and then set the stone with a scalloped bezel. The stone is dichronic coated which makes it pick up colors when the light hits it. It also as natural crystals in the center that makes it interesting and beautiful. Wow, I am learning everyday! When using flatware to make jewelry, I have to remember to purchase only sterling silver (that is marked) if I want to solider a bezel for placing a stone. As you can see from the example shown here. Sterling silver plated flatware is beautiful but because of the pot metal that is used before plating, most will not accept the fine silver solider used to bond the bezels needed to add a stone. So you have to be creative if you want to add a stone to a plated item.
